How Often Should I Test My Electrics?
Electric installations in the home, just like anything else, are subject to ageing, deterioration, and general wear and tear. For that reason, among others, electrical tests should be conducted on a regular basis. It is advised that homeowners and landlords test at the following intervals:
Homeowners: every ten years.
Landlords: every five years, or when there is a change of tenancy.
What Does a GWEC Periodic Electrical Test Involve?
A periodic electrical test will check if your home's electrical installations have any faults that would be unidentifiable from a standard visual check.
